Monday Night Mayhem...
Boy did I miss Sharqi...
![]() Last 20 seconds, the game evens to 53-53 and then.... People who died were either revived, people delayed spawn saving the ticket, and stopping the assaults... OUTSTANDING FINISH!!! Jalalabad was great, Mashtuur was fun, but I always liked Sharqi. Great games! Lucky Shot |

I can't believe we tied on Sharqi. Has that ever happened before? Awesome rounds all night long. I had forgotten how powerful the AK and the RPK for the MEC was. One on one I had no chance against them all night.

Man, I really sucked out there tonight, especially on Jalalabad, since I've never even seen that map before. Still, I think 90% of my deaths were from the grenade spamming. When did Medics get grenades?
It's been a long time since I played vanilla. The guns are like toys. I couldn't survive head to head against anyone.

Great games last night. Sharqi was a great way to kick it off, and Jalalabad was a ton of fun, despite the USMC coming from WAY behind to wipe us off the map. I was losing it a bit around Karkand, when we couldn't do a damn thing, and even when I successfully flanked all the way around the defenders, I'd empty a full magazine into someone and then die. Frustrating, but still great games overall.
I'm thinking it might be time to have another TG v TG scrim on vanilla. For old time's sake. ![]()

In Jallalaalalaa mantis kept killing ALL of us. Almost all my deaths were either directly from him, or because of him. Id get so caught up in trying to kill him that someone else would shoot me in the ass. But once he left (our team kind of celebrated) it was a bit easier to stay alive.

Definitely the most fun I've had with Vanilla BF2 in a long time. Although I kept going for my smoke as a medic only to find frags
. The teams had some great back and forth; each side wiping the other off a map while I was on. US on Road to Jalalabad and MEC on Mashtuur City. The US side was having a pretty hard time getting out of the main base on Jalalabad; it wasnt until we took the northern mosque flag that we started to get some real traction. The draw on Sharqi was something I hadn't seen in a long time either.

Great fun all around - except being sniped every 15 seconds by Santa. Forgot for awhile how less damaging the support guns are in vanilla compared to tac mod and poe.
