POE Early Sun. evening 11-26
I always forget what the map’s name is on POE2 but it’s the one with the castle in the western side. I meant to drop a line earlier about Lucky’s squad’s performance yesterday (early Sunday night 11-26) at the windmill. His squad had it locked down tight yesterday. I was SL’ing a learn TG squad on the Ukraine side and made a few attempts at taking it early on. My squad was having a blast trying to creep up, flank or just bluntly attack the flag. We couldn’t figure out who was the squad leader and where were they spawning at, so every time we did take the flag it was only for a short time. At some point it dawned on me that I was going up against Luckshot and his German brats for that particular piece of real estate.
The most memorable moment for me that whole round was when we capped the flag and aggressively hunted Lucky down. We got him and cleaned out the rest of his squad. I felt pretty good at finally taking the flag and confident that we could hold it with Lucky being dead. What took place next just gave me gas. It was pretty, and I was impressed if was in fact coordinated the way it looked.
From my perspective on the Windmill hill, I spotted a tank approaching on the western side, so I quickly mobilized my guys to concentrate on the tank. And just like clockwork, as soon as my squad shifted west, up came a jeep zipping from the south straight to flag. I saw at least 3 guys from Lucky’s squad quickly bail out to cap the flag- too fast for my squad to fall back. The flag went down like butter. I saw the whole thing from my vantage point and thought to myself: damn that looked good! (if it was in fact a coordinated assault). I was the hunted this time and it didn’t take long before we had to spawn back at our UCB for another attempt at taking windmill. Kudos again to Luckyshot and his boys. I've added that to my "another lessoned learned" file somewhere in my head..

Re: POE Early Sun. evening 11-26
Truth is always stranger than fiction! This was a fun flag to defend and we had some good guys in the squad to help out. I registered Tha Kahn, EO, Corporate, Pjaronex and FreekyE in the squad last night during this round.
The time in which we "coordinated" our assault, we put 4 guys in a jeep and 2 in a tank to hit your flag. We passed the Castle flag with no indication whatsoever that we had been spotted and just as we were about to pass the area with the jeep, out of nowhere came the luckiest AT round ever as it hit our moving jeep zig zagging through the forest.
After respawning at the Beach, we again grabbed the jeep and raced through between the Village and Castle to the Windmills flag. By this time, the tank made it to your flag providing the diversion we may or may not have needed to cap the flag anyway. I dropped off the crew and found a hiding spot on the hill in the grass.
In between some good rounds, that and later Orel featured some of the best fighting of the night!
