Dnister River and Woodland 3/18
Dnister River featured some fantastic battles between my squad and NorCal's on the German and Santa's and Whiskey's on the Ukraine. My favorite battles had to have been a prolonged attack on Santa's squad at the Checkpoint including multiple tank thefts and making life generally miserable for them. Nor Cal's squad was rolling around in a tank convoy adding pressure on their flag and to top it off was the chopper squad.
When it became apparent that we were down to a couple flags, our squad broke out around the Checkpoint and took the East Bridge. We figured when we had it that Santa would stay at his flag, so it was a matter of battling various snipers and an armor convoy from the 12th. So with the 12th bearing down from the east in a stronger position we ceded the flag and took the Powerstation from behind them. Props to MoreGooder, Anvil, MakrsMark, Bad_pork and Luuser. Woodland was next and as always, we rushed for that Watchtower flag. When it was clear that they had overwhelming numbers there, we concentrated on sweeping back flags. We made the loop several times being one flag behind the Ukrainians. Eventually though, we were able to create a front line from the Mines through the Shrine and just bleed them tickets. What was once a 90 ticket lead became an 8 ticket win! There were some fun fights between our squad and the 33rd at the Shrine and the Encampment. Well played to MoreGooder, Anvil, MakrsMark, Bad_pork, Luuser, Britt and JeonJiHyeon! Here is a shot of the squad assaulting the Cottage flag. ![]() Lucky Shot |

Re: Dnister River and Woodland 3/18
Yeah, tonight was fun. Thanks for the good times.
A few things to add: Getting team-swapped STINKS. But, I suppose it has to be done on occasion. I was in a squad in Woodlands that just couldn't muster up any sort of plan. Tonight would have been a good night for a LearnTG squad, but that's all hindsight now. We were everywhere and nowhere simultaneously, but we did our best. Some good battles, for sure. That pistol fight with Lucky was a hoot. I kept smoking the area while I tried to reload, ran my main gun out, then ran out of pistol. Perhaps you didn't notice I had my knife out when you finally put one between my eyes, right? ;-)

Re: Dnister River and Woodland 3/18
Woodland 32 definitely is better although you still almost need a full server with 6 flags. Think there was only about 52ish on during this round and there was still some a bit too much flaghopping. I'll keep trying to load that version as much as possible in the future.
