AAR Video: Bad Medic, Bad (Apr 4)
Bad Medic, Bad
Dateline: April 4, 2007.
TG’s embedded videographer and amateur Science Officer, E-Male, reporting from the front lines of HyperReality.
While embedded with Coridon’s squad, I captured a FRAPs video record of a me killing two poor souls that thought two poor souls are enough to take a flag. Note the classic Medic error – healing a squad member that is still under fire (yes, I know, we all do it from time to time…). TG’s Battlerecorder provided footage of the same incident from the third-person point of view. Here I had my video settings on low as usual (800x600) so FRAPs would work, but I had most of the individual settings set to high.

This will give you a larger 640x480 screen.
Enjoy.

E_Male;
Could you point me to a good reference doc/post for getting battle footage from the server?

The TG BattleRecorder files are saved for 24 hours at
http://bfrecorder.tacticalgamer.com/reality/
This might be a members-only feature.

Re: AAR Video: Bad Medic, Bad (Apr 4)
Got the file I wanted, but when I play it back I can't control my mouse and none of the keyboard letter work. I can alt-tab out, but nothing in game works. So basically I am watching from very high and from a single vantage point. I can see things moving, just can;t control.
I am playing it back using the community tab in BF2.pr mod.
Any help would be appreciated/

Re: AAR Video: Bad Medic, Bad (Apr 4)
Okay, now I just pissed. I got battledirector, looked at video, its was great.
HOWEVER, the lack of mouse and keyboard now occurs in the BF2 game itself. I tried to log on twice tonight, and once I joined the game, I was unable...
nevermind, in a moment of computer sanity(I AM a director of IT IRL for god sakes) I checked the controls settings and found that they were all blank. No idea how that happened.
