Friday nite POE 4/13
Good games last nite. The server has been a little barren over the last couple of weeks and we got a good crowd going. The 33rd played both Germany and Ukraine and had a chance to engage each of the 5th, 7th, and 12th squads for some terrific fights. I just had to post a couple of the highlights.
Me killing 4 out of 5 tanks because the rest of the 33rd was cowering in the barn. Damn slackers. Note: Film is larger than window. Right click screen, select Play to start, select Zoom > Full Screen to view. Obligatory smacktalk. Note: Film is larger than window. Right click screen, select Play to start, select Zoom > Full Screen to view.

Re: Friday nite POE 4/13
hahaha I could've told you that without seeing a single video. But yeah, I wasn't planning on having a helo touch down on the roof for someone to knife me.

Re: Friday nite POE 4/13
Looks like the 5th needs to stay away from tanks...

Great videos. Seeing Bane(?) take out those tanks was awesome, and the helo sneak attack, well, I guess there is something to be said for using all of your senses when in battle...

Re: Friday nite POE 4/13
Here's the one with you in it: Note: Film maybe larger than window. Right click screen, select Play to start, select Zoom > Full Screen to view. Needless to say I was less than pleased with my squad (I was manning the tank). Infantry are supposed to protect the armor and my squad pretty much ignored that role. One can hope people will learn from this example.

Re: Friday nite POE 4/13
heh - best part of that video was the sweet drift that guy did in the jeep at the very end
yeah, one of the most important things about protecting armor (as infantry) isn't necessarily killing - it's communicating... by Q-spotting and using VOIP. Tanks can defend themselves pretty well provided they know where the threat is coming from. |

No cringing in fear here, just foolish running around. I was setting mines also, just not very successfully. Someday I hope to do it like in the video. |
