Tues night Fallen 4/17/07
Good game tonight on Fallen! I was in a squad with my 12th squaddies SL Sordavie, Mantis, Tau along with Braidedheadman from the 5th and a pubby. We started out br heading to North Cabin along with about half our team
Once that was taken care of we kind of hung back to see what the other squads were doing. Once things settled down we set up a river defense and tried to support the Crash Site as much as possible. Well the UKR took Crash Site and we barreled in to take it back and sure enough Lucky Shot and his merry band of 5th rolled in and took North Cabin. So for the rest of the night it was a matter of flanks, counter flanks, smoke, counter smoke with the flag going flip flop from one faction to the other. Lucky's squad held strong until the end of the round but the Germans won 20-0! Good round and good to see some of the 2142 guys playing POE. You guys did well on the defense with Lucky. A tip of the hat to all that was involved.

That was the only close game of the night and I do appreciate the 9th guys Lucky Strike, Pfeil, Lorax and then Cpt Cuervo and magic for playing through the rough rounds to play a good one. Dark Viper did a solid job of scouting flags and areas as CO to make sure that we were taking the best path into flags. I had a lot of fun that round and appreciate the games. Lucky Shot |

Re: Tues night Fallen 4/17/07
I had a lot of fun on this map and enjoyed the round. This proved to be my best experience with PoE2, so far, and left me wanting to play this mod more. The firefights around each Control Point were very intense and it was a real pleasure to see how some of the other in-house squads go about their business on the battlefield. There were times where I was totally lost and didn’t know if I was coming or going, let alone where the enemy was popping up from, but Lucky Shot held us together and did a fantastic job helping those of us new to PoE2.
I look forward to many more rounds like this one. |
