Steel thunder, 18/04/07
On PR tonight, unexpectidely, as i thought i wouldnt be able to play until the weekend....but anyway, glad i got on!
On Steel thunder, we had Root as SL, with Bc2id, Fallosophy, Meddler, myself, and a guy who I have never played with before, Chernobyl Kinsman, who was very good!
However, was the best round of Steel thunder iv saw, pushed em back and took their main base with over 200 tickets left!our squad was, naturally, top!
very impressive stuff from all involved, shows what a well organised squad with engineers, and ammo can do, and the medics were amazing!

Re: Steel thunder, 18/04/07
We had a CO for this map, alas I forget his name. He gave us that little bit of extra organisation. Props to my squad, of whom the regulars (as usual) were top notch. I think we would have won it sooner if we'd had a CO in place from the start. We came so very close to winning around the 330 ticket mark. Regardless, the team rallied when we lost power station, then pushed back under the COs instruction.
Meddler and I flanked the US main base, put warnings out when armour left, and then rushed the flag once it was in play. My squad even died at the right time, and then spawned into a hot flag zone. By this point the rest of the team was holding village and pushing into the main base. We also seemed to have some very dedicated individuals who made sure we didn't lose the dam.
Great job all round from the team.BFCL TF2 league admin
