    AAR sunset city 27th April

    Squad:
    E_Male SL
    BigGaayAl
    Crombo
    Finestyle
    John Canavar

Was a great round for me, as i always enjoy playing with these guys, and it was also the first time i had played with John, who was in charge of fireteam Bravo!Very good, map, pushed the USMC all the way back over the river and never let them reassert themselves.

Next came Steel thunder, one of my favourite maps, will miss it when it is gone from 0.6!This time John was SL, a very good experience, interesting for me, as i have recently played this map a lot with Root, and he is an aggressive SL, and has pushed the enemy back to their main! However, John was playing defensive, was interesting to see a different, but equally effective strategy!Lots of fun!

Was this one of the close rounds? I wasn't in game but I know there were about three or so maps in a row decided by less than 10 tickets each.

I think the British won Helmand 1-0, or something crazy.

Sounds like I missed out, Jeepo, but I'm glad you were finally able to meet this mysterious "John" fellow...

Re: AAR sunset city 27th April

I dropped in to this game when the Americans held the Village and Chinese the temple. Since there were no spaces in squads on the Chinese side, I became the Commander.

I can not outline in words the awesome dedication and effectiveness of all the Chinese squads during that battle.

I do remember some names but that would slight those I do not, who were just as effective; though I can say to everyone on the Chinese team - that was amazing, be happy to credit yourself.

One squad comes to mind simply because they stayed at Temple for the entire game, repulsing attacks.

Two other squads fought well for the north Village, artilleryed any spawn point I requested, and dominated this area.

The others filled the middle and suppressed any attempt by Americans to advance.

A huge note to empahisise that was critical to the success of the game but also to the individuals involved: a large key given to the comradeship and abilty of these players was that they all helped the other out and that they did it with goodheart and clarity.

They would destroy a position for others, if they could, and did to great effect.

And they also helped me out as Commander.

All squad leaders were calm, patient (especially if a resource was being used elsewhere, or any mistakes I had done), effective and intelligent in their strategy.

All squad members fought to their squad leaders commands and none were outfought or outclassed, by the fact that they also held the same resolution as their squad leaders.

All fought hard and displayed skill in tactics and teamwork.

The players and squad leaders on the Chinese team, as their commander on that round, can be assured that rarely has a team been so able and insightful. You were all a credit unto yourselves.

I believe these feeble words to the credit that should be given, I just haven't the strength of literature to do so.

    <thumbs up to you all>

There were so many good round yesterday!
One thing I'll remember is Crombo as A1, definitely some things I can learn there. I especially liked how he waited for the others to get in rides while providing over watch. Looks really cool, and is an effective way of controlling the moment of departure.

We also played a very enjoyable round of Ejod. The mec had just about pushed usto ruins, and our squad in east city was down to a few players. As the enemy zerged south to ruins,we just managed to sneak by them on the east side. Then alpha sneaked on the flag behind them and recapped it. That was awesome; 3 guys recapped the flag right in the back of a large swarm of opfor.

An earlier round I played with Dirtboy's squad on sun city was also very enjoyable, but less so for the us team I suppose; having lost all their flags they resorted to swimming towards our flag (temple). I started feeling guilty using the heavy AT on them, especially when I shot 4 swimmers at once . Fishing is easy like that.

That was really fun...we had an EXCELLENT commander (forgot his name...but really good). I had a really good squad and we had great comms together. It was really fun shooting at "fishes" in the water and watch the little bird drop people in the water RIGHT in front of us.

I think that was one of the rounds I was commanding. I commanded last night for Sun City, Helmand, EJOD, Steel Thunder, and a few other rounds...I believe you guys were playing as the 1stMIP squad?

Definitely had a lot of good squads and SL's last night...lotsa close rounds that we barely pulled off (except for Sun City, which was a total blow out....).

I also want to welcome C-Box. Excellent CO'ing during several maps on April 27th.

Thanks Jeepo, had a great time that night.
