5th vs Irregs PoE2 Nuke Match Results

we had a great match tonight which we had fun; us Irregs had not practiced prior to 90 minutes before the match began, and I proved that the 5th had a terrible defence on 'Spies Like Us', i hit the nuke 5 times with 4 C4 each Thank you very much

we wanted to know if it is possible to blow up the nuke using anti tank rockets, which i tried while the 15 minute break was in session, it didnt seem to work mostly because i ended up wasting all my ammo trying to noob tube various 5th members. I wanted to surprise the PoE public server with running a nuke map, but Lucky said his BF2CC cant run multiple map formats, which made me mad ... The only win the Irregs got was when we blew up the nuke on Spies Like Us with 3 seconds left in the round the game said the Ukraines (defending team) won the round but it was a picture of the blown up nuke in the back ground that made us Irregs both confused and happy, i think it boosted our morale quite a bit, Axis said we did better than expected because we thought we were going to get DECIMATED by the 5th; but we ended up winning a round, i think the 5th won because it is based on time, can someone please verify who won?

Overall, it was fun and exciting and i hope to play with the 5th more often; maybe we can do little practice scrims for upcomming matches ??

Round 1: Carpathian had the 5th throw a shutout. Missed the screenshot but someone else grabbed it. So 15:00-0:00

Round 2: 5th attack destroyed the nuke at the 9:07 point with Braidedheadman sneaking in for the key blast. So 9:07-5:53(Time sucessfully defended) giving the 5th a 24:07-5:53 lead.

Round 3: Spies had the 5th on defense and we held off the Irregulars for 14:57 seconds. Stickey Jeans put on the the last C4. So 14:57-:03

Round 4: 5th was on offense and was able to knock down the nuke with 10:21 remaining on the clock. E0 was able to get that final C4 kit onto the nuke. So that's 10:21-4:39 win for a round total of 25:18-4:42

Overall, we had a lot of fun and can't wait for the next match!

actually, i think its arguable for the 3rd round, i put C4 on the nuke at the same time Sticky did and i detonated at the same time

Round 4, EO was the ONLY person able to get passed us

Just looking at the schedule for the competition i found that the only teams scheduled for week one were all the TG squads facing each other 7th vs 12th and 5th vs Irregs

Week II: Acorn 16, Carpathian 32
5th vs 12th in week 2 GL 5th

lol that will be a funny site, dont forget, the Irregs are pirates...we can spy like on Spies Like Us (i still have the loading song and nuke truck jingle in my head)

We played the 5th in nuke when I was in the Irregs and got the biggest butt whoopin' I have ever had. I SL'd a round and we were destroyed in minutes. The 5th are tough customers indeed.

thats what the last round was like, Axis was talking about how he got a butt woopin also

I see the 2 squad tactic is available, we were wondering if we could do it but didnt want to give our strategy away

Some of the most intense action I've ever had playing an FPS game is seen right here. I was just about ready to soil my pants, lol. By rights, I should have had a knife lodged somewhere in my back.
