Carpathian Mountains, 6/6/07
A great match tonight, and one of the best defensive stands I've been a part of for a while (though we eventually lost our flag) as a Uke on the south cabin... I want to thank Corp, NotOne, Doc, DeadSideshow, and [LaG] Jiffeh for some fantastic teamplay tonight, mostly against the twelveCrayolas, who waxed relentless in their attempts to capture our little Direct-TV-linked cabin....
I mean, what would you do? 6 guys, watching some hoops, and these Kodachrome-monikered fellas show up at our door demanding we turn on some public TV to watch guy paint "happy trees.." That's all I can remember: this "blonde" dude saying "happy trees, happy trees...one here, one there..."
So Corporate said to me "let's throw down," and down it went. Like I said, lots of strong attacks, and our guys played a lot of strong defense. We were overwhelmed eventually, and we spent (wasted: this was my fault) a lot trying to get the flag back, but time was on our side. Ukes win. Luckily. Again, thanks all.Last edited by khaerus; 06-07-2007 at 01:16 AM.

You guys were saved by the bell...two more minutes max and we would have had it.

That was an impressive defensive stand for sure! (And a great round in general) We didn't wrestle it away from you until we had 10+ guys attacking at the same time

yeah... at the end you guys were bleeding out for sure... saved by the bell indeed

Great round. I was chuckling well into the next round from I think Lucky saying something about "Mr. 12th Crayola" or something similar, and then dually going stir crazy muttering stuff and making up songs while sitting on north cabin with no-one to shoot at.
