Thread: 06-24-07 AAR AL Burj

This is the report form SQ3 (Devil BDE) from last nights action.
Sq3 was composed of the following members:
SL-BC2ID
R2-Smoking gun- APC
R2-Yamer- AT
Rkous- Medic
Krazzyb- medic
TG IRR- Viper Medic
Gooberghost- rifleman

SQ3 assaulted the bridge and took up a hasty defense on the eastern side. We repelled two attacks, one mechanized and one air assault that resulted in heavy fighting. Noticing that Dam had gone neutral we assisted SQ1 and provided eastern flank covereage. While we drew sniper fire, SQ1 assisted by two members of our squad re-captured dam.

With Dam secured we moved in our APC to East Beach. We secured and cleared the village and the northern hills of any hostile forces. We took out two APC's and many light infantry in the process. After a failed attempt at assaulting the beach, we set up a defensive position in the norhtern hills. Our main objecitve was to stop enemy from leaving east beach. We stayed there until the enemy ran out of reinforcements.

Kudos to all squad members who followed orders to the "T" and acted with grace under fire.

R2 Smoking Gun- excellent APC gunning and driving, we could not have been successful without your mechanized skills. You took down many light infantry and kept the APC away from us. Great Shooting in and out of the APC.

R2 Yamer- great shooting and was always giving tactical suggestions to the SL. Great shooting all around, you and smoking are deadly.

TG IRR Viper- you came in late but supplied us with stellar medical care and your professionalism pushed us over the top.

Gooberghost- outstanding job of keeping the AT and the squad ammo's up. Keep up the good work.

krazzyb- outstanding medical skills and you seemed to always be there when we needed you.

rkous- you left early but supplied us with revives and heals while fighting at the bridge.
