    Crimea 9-16 AAR

Of the rounds tonight (Orel, Crimea, Fallen), Crimea was the one where our team was able to put together a victory. Our squad tried to move along the north edge but was cut off by a sniper and then multiple armor. By the time we respawned our team had captured the Lower village (skipping Beach Village and Beach flags somehow) allowing our squad to respawn. I sent the squad to the church and moved towards the Upper Village where we could negate the majority of the enemy armor and AA. When the squad fell, they respawned on me and stole the flag from the Ukraine. We held the flag for a good chunk of the game until we were finally overrun by a couple squads. We were able to get back up there and prevent some of the squads from moving out by applying pressure on that flag and finally secured the win.

Thanks again to those who played in Lucky squad over the course of the evening including Gooder, Azreal, Kevanova, Mike54, Ledslinger, Bloodline, DukeBelassarius, BlackOpsBook, DogWarrior and Acidicheartburn and others. For that Crimea round we only had 4 guys in the squad at the end and somehow took the top squad spot.

Fallen and Orel were far less glorious as our team just played follow the leader to a flag. Thanks for the games for all those who did venture through my squad.

Crimea was a pretty intense round. It seemed as if there was never a slow moment once we were on the flag. We held it longer than I thought we would though. Once they started bringing up the APCs that is when we finally lost it though for the last 10 minutes or so it was fun circling the flag trying to retake it. Excellent Squad Leading too.
