Tales Of Qwai
This is going to be my little offical area where people tell their stories about qwai river and how well it went or didnt. Ill be the first to go.
Firday morning from around 11:00 till almost 1. I had a air squad going on qwai river. In the squad i had myself Eol and BiggaayAl. I was in the gun bird giving cover fire to the whole team. It went on like this for quite some time and the team was unorganized. The we got a commander half way through the round, The_real_Johndoe. He was a great commander, i tell him that the gunbird is ready and he tells the squads. The squads call in targets and i take them out. It was a great system. Surely enough the chinese take back gov so CO calls in air run. I come down on the gov office like an iron fist. 7 kills on one run. Now the really amazing part is that the chinese heli kept on coming at me from behind and sure enough i see the tracers and turn around to engage. I mowed its face. I killed the chinese helis i think around 10 or 11 times. In the end our team won by ticket bleed and my total of the day was 79 kills 4 deaths 2172 total score, 11 heli kills, around 6 or 7 apc kills and 2 tank kills(along with several inf). But really, great round team great round.

Yea that was a great round even though the PLA doesn't seem to be really organized. Anyway, I was your spotter during almost 1 hour and I must say I was impressed by your flying skills

Re: Tales Of Qwai
A good spotter is as or more important then the person doing the killing tbh

Getting an active spot on something is invaluable especially when its the other heli on your tail. Only thing it cant show is altitude unfortunately.
Its even more important now that apc or tank cant tell by sound when a hostile is near or even when its being fired on.
I'd love to see more games where the SL call in long range strikes like they used to do with artillery. It doesnt take much in theory, just spot as a boat and choose your target wisely.
Calling in the LB when a tank or APC is looking at the target without telling them would be a bad spot.
Spotting snipers is usually good, isolated, alone and often out in the open with no chance to return fire
