I have tried multiple times to get on an online server for FH2, but when I do i walk 2 meters and loose connection. This is not a problem exclusive to the TG server for me. I have tried multiple others without any luck. I can start a local server and play without any issues, so it is not a problem with the installation. Please someone give me some advice as to what to do. I was REALLY looking forward to playing this mod with the Tactical Gamer Community!
Thanks,

Re: Help!
Are you behind a firewall? Router? Does your ISP suck? Are you able to play vBF2? Other Mods without problem? Creating a local server will always work because it is based off your own machine.

Re: Help!
The timing of your disconnects might suggest it is punkbuster. Try updating it with the tool PB provides on their website.

Re: Help!
I am able to play PoE2 and PR without any problems. I have tried turning off my firewall, updating punkbuster, then I restarted but still lose connection as soon as I spawn

Re: Help!
Then it's not punkbuster...
Are you playing on a wireless connection? Is anyone else in your house using the internet for something bandwidth intensive? (Streaming music/movies, uTorrent etc) Are you running anything bandwidth intensive by accident in the backround? Do you have an anti-virus/anti-spyware/anti-malwar application running? |
