Replace FH2 with AIX
havent played FH2 but i looked here and it doesnt seem like there is a lot of recent activity. was thinking since AIX is popular enough to have 2 servers that usually have enough people maybe we need a TG one with a bit of tweaks....join squad or be kicked...maybe balance the air vehicles a bit on each side.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
Already got a modern warfare mod for BF2, I like to call it Project Reality, if there are any other WW2 mods for BF2 that are popular that would get my interest though,

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
no what i meant was...i think they should get a tg server running for aix instead of fh2... just so we all have more of a choice of tg servers to play on.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
AIX is modern warefare but more Vanillish much like PoE, for those of you who have played that. The AA Missiles still cant hit the broad side of a barn when its 10 feet in front of them.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
Wow. AIX is nothing like PoE2. It's more 'nilla-ish than 'nilla. That's not a bad thing, unless 'nilla doesn't rock your boat. (AIX does have really cool toys, to be sure!)
We were briefly considering an AIX server here, but have pretty much decided against it. It's a fun time, but not really the type of game that most of us are looking for.OPS, the bacon is on you.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
Unfortunately AIX was designed to be a BOT killer, so its highly unbalanced from an air point of view. It can be played multi player, its just very unbalanced in both weapons and map design. Just try surviving in a tank for more than 3 minutes. Its a fun time to be sure, but not really a TG kind of game.

Version 2.0 is good, they re-did a bunch of BFV maps.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
yeah EoD2 looks good but i checked the servers and zero players so far. thing about aix is that i have seen a lot of tg guys on there after poe2 gets empty. i would much rather play poe2 all night like the good old days but these days it seems like the only mods that will have at least some players all the time are pr and aix.
i know aix can be chaotic. lacking in teamwork. would be so much better with that join squad or be kicked thing running thats all. if the aircraft bother me i just grab a stinger and hide somewhere.......or wait by the stationary aa and only get in briefly. and yes ground vehicles are easy targets unless you have shelter or close escorts. also the maps to be in circulation could be carefully chosen..some are a bit pointless...but plenty are a lot of fun. the very last map with the ww1 airplanes is a refreshing change.

Re: Replace FH2 with AIX
I second the motion.
Yeah it didn’t take long for me to figure out how tough it was to drive around in any land vehicle. The air power is way too intense. Imagine if we had a TG version of AIX… “If you build it, they will come.”
Well said. Tru dat. I agree. Not only are you a good SL, but a good points maker, too.
We had an awesome AIX squad full of POE players (Cyco, Cylon, Whiskey Runner, Mahoney, TGI_Blood, Hitest, and H4) and used our POE skills / teamwork to carry our entire team full of non-teamworkers. Our in-game talk included requests for an AIX server hosted by TG. Maybe we can have AIX on non-TGIT / TGIF days?
