i would like to see a mod or a completely new game from ea/dice. I want to play the original battlefield 1942 and especially battlefield vietnam but with the graphics and AI from 2142. I would like to be able to play all the games at once. Be able to switch from 1942 maps to vietnam maps to 2142 maps all with the great graphics of todays age and more importantly with the kits and weapons/vehicles. My biggest thing is, i still love to play BF vietnam especially but i can't stand the horrible graphics. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO PLAY ALL THE MAPS EVER MADE IN EVERY GAME OF THE SERIES ON ONE SERVER WITHOUT HAVING TO SWITCH GAMES.

You know, I believe a game maybe called BF1862 could be made to be fun. I mean look at all the cool weapons they had during that time period. hot air ballons for scouting, muskets and the repeating Henry Rifles, and cannons. Horses, wagons, and trains for transportation. The first subs were apparently built during this time and of course the warships.
A lot of people had I had made mention to me just laugh about it but thinking about how a game such as this would be played would be awesome. Start out with the basic musket and work up to the repeating rifles with better bullets. The bullets could be an unlock for different ranks, since not many different weapons were really available but bullets designs were.

As far as BF1942, I would love to see them update it. Better graphics and such. That was an awesome game and maybe the best as far as simple fun. BF2 is a good game to play but that is when it seemed like all the glitches and bugs came out too. BF1942 had them but not like most other BF games that have came out since them. I never could get into BF Vietnam, can't say much about that one.
I am now playing BF Bad Company on the PS3 quite a bit lately(to much really), I was in 1,235 position on the PS3 version. Anyway, it has it's problems as well. The PS3 version has lack of mic support. Plus their are some glitches in the game, nothing major but they are there. EA definitely needs to worry about the games they have released and make them better before really designing another game and releasing it which will most likely have more bugs than a dead body after 3 weeks in the hot sun.
