LOL.. You posted this at about the same time I was putting the news item together. In any case, it's fantastic news.

I'm wondering how soon before we'll see the demo, or if it even will be released before the actual game release date.

I think the demo was supposed to come a week before the release... but I'm hoping it comes this weekend now!

Well going gold may be the catalyst for the demo release. Lets hope we are so lucky. I know that on some of the "Big" Bf2 fansites there is endless speculation on the demo release date

June 21st is the shipping date. I can only assume that the the 21st or 22nd is the official release date, but it's somewhat hard to be certain.

The demo is rumoured to be a gamespot only download. But it will probably spread anyway, just giving a headsup if'n its true
