Well, no, I wasn't sure that EA had announced that there would be a demo. I know that all the fansites are talking about it, and that members of the dev team have implied that there would be one, but I've not read anything other than rumors.

Could you point me in the direction of something on the EA website that indicates that there definitely will be a demo?

Cant wait, just fixed my wireless to allow me to get my full bandwidth of 400+ Kbps. That and im getting a new computer. I guess im the lucky one.

Scott Evans (executive producer) said in a interview at E3 that the demo would be released approx 2 weeks before the game. This is the date at which everyone is speculating.

For those of you with Xfire there is a link at the top of the Xfire window for BF2. It says if you add the FPS Demo channel, you will automatically download the BF2 demo when it comes out and you will immediately get the official trailer. I signed up. I'm sure everyone and their brother will be trying to get the demo so it is nice to have a couple sources.

My dad comes back Friday to give me an assignment for his website in Dreamweaver *sigh*

Well, I "heard" about it through an Aussie website about the demo release. But, you all know how reliable info on the net is.

About my Peru trip I'll only be gone a week. We'll be down there on a missions trip. There is a new childrens home that has just opened. We will be working there mostly with the kids. My wife speaks spanish fluently so that'll help. It sounds a lot of fun. I can't wait.
