Dunno. I just started downloading, straight from GameSpot into the mirror's datacenter, and off it went, with a speed >600KB/s. Twenty minutes later, it was finished.

I'm downloading to my personal machine at home no more quickly than are you guys. I look forward to the TG host coming online.

OK...so I said screw the torent and I started downloading from your link, and for like 2 seconds it was downloading at 2000KB/S but it went back down now....

The speed you see when downloading something is an average calculation (not live) and can often be misleading when the download window first appears (after you click "Save", specifying where on your box you want the file saved), as the browser is thinking you've downloaded in a split second the amount of the file which was downloaded during the time it took for you to get rid of the "Save" dialog window.

dude, didn't you get the 2.3 GB demo patch from Gamespot? Fixes all known issues.

Anyone who has completed the download I would strongly urge get on teamspeak so we can coordinate any problems. I suspect server overload is one of the main issues right now.
