Re: Wow.....

Don't worry, BF2 will be very big here. We will all make sure of that.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

You mean just like in real life? Horrible, huh? Take your tank on rough terrain and it will take a bit of damage...

Re: Wow.....

Something being like reality does not invalidate a claim that it's horrible for gameplay.

Imagine if we all had to take the time in gameplay to get vaccinated before choosing our spawn point.

It would be both horrible and realistic.

Re: Wow.....

The vehicle damage from terrain here is less than from DC, so it is an improvement.

Right. But in this particular case, it does...

Stick to the roads and smooth terrain and your tank will be fine. Drive over a 3 foot pile of rubble or over some train tracks, and your tracked vehicle is going to be damaged.

I think that enhances gameplay.

Fully agreed... now we can jump railroad tracks in our go-kart and not take nearly as much damage.... In DC, that small jump would kill you and the go-kart :P

THis is why first person shooters have crosshairs. It would be horrible without them.
