Re: Command, orders, and communication
If you've ever read/seen Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, you'll know what I mean when I say TG could really use the "point of view" gun. But then again, what fun is life if there is no opposing force to fight? :P

Re: Command, orders, and communication
I just want to remind all squad leaders. If you do not confirm your captain's orders, your squad members will not see said orders.
Also, if you commander is not issuing orders at all, make sure your squad members have something to do, so give them orders of some sort, even if it is just to defend an objective.

Strength in numbers. I think this game is finally breaking the barrier, to some extent, on the "run-n-gun" mentality. Of course, making this pronouncement after playing the demo is probably a little premature, but I think we're seeing people actually realize if they go off on their own, they'll be "owned". Of course, TG has always promoted teamwork, but it's highly unusual (in my opinion, of course) to see such cooperation from the pubbies. |

Re: Command, orders, and communication
I've long held that most (that is to say, more than don't) pubbies want teamplay but are too fatigued or ignorant to manage it.
In seeing TG regulars exhibit it, it emboldens them. BF2 makes it all to easy for us to exhibit it.
