Last Night's Games

Those were some of the best games I've ever played in my life. I want to give a shoutout to my gunners Redic and Anewed (sp?) for their awesome service in my attack chopper. I also want to shout out to bastet and his squad for their awesome blackhawk gunning skills. Sorry that I was on the phone for the last 3 hours of gaming but I still managed to pilot and take down tanks (and GM_custom about 40 times) adequately despite talking to my girlfriend. This is the best game ever. I am so sorry that I have to go 3 days after it comes out...I love tacticalgamer so much...why the hell am I not paying!??!

But 9 dollars... thats the catch

And tonight, me and someone else (DON.MAC?) were TKed by Wyz, when he parachuted off the crane and landed on us. We then respawn on him.

Close enough, but yeah that was tons of fun. I racked up so many kills. But I couldnt\'ve done it without your piloting skills. Many thanks. BTW is the server down? What is it named in the list cause I have to type in the IP every time lol.

I didn't see it in the list last night either. Maybe the admins took it off public listings, not sure.

I had the pleasure of gunning down zephyr and a few choppers, i also got hawked into last week as well.

Re: Last Night's Games

I commanded for the first time. And won every match.
A good feeling, but I know it's probably because there were quite a few squads denying my (probably) boneheaded orders.

The server name is TacticalGamer.com BF2. You can filter for it with Tactical if you wish. I believe that capitalization is important, though.

Neg on that, Temp. Capitalization don't mean squat.

Re: Last Night's Games

Last night games were good fun. I was on the other squad playing in Tarpan's squad for hours on end. I actually forgot to eat a proper supper, that's how immersive it was.

Causing me to lose track of time like that definately puts BF2 in the top few games I've ever played. With the right teammates this is going to be great.

Actually, that's almost right. There is a space between Tactical and Gamer.

Because once the game is no longer free, and the developers add reserved slots, anyone not a SM can potentially get hosed.

Like last night. Server is maxed....I get on teamspeak, ask an admin to kick a pub, and everything is right in the world. They didn't because someone else decided to leave, but I wasn't the only one to do that either...it's a good be that that will continue until a software version of that will be in place.

$9 a month for great BF2 and CS:S games seems a bargain.

Actually, there was. When I joined, the space was still there. Two distinct words. That was.....10:00PM?

Heh, I got kicked last night about a minute after joining the server for the first time. But I'd been on your forums for a couple hours yesterday, reading up, so I understood it was probably to make room for a TG member...so I wasn't quite so pissed off.

SO yeah, I can see the value of ponying up the monthly support fee.

It won't be that bad going forward. Posting in the forums actually helps. The pecking order goes something like this:

Admins
Supporting Members/Community Members
Pubs

There are lots of reasons why Community Members can't contribute, which is fine, since it's not mandatory. Showing your face in the forums, coming back, becoming part of the community, all lessen the chance that you will be kicked.

If the choice is between Tarpan or youself and Randomnoob010101 to make room for a SM, well, admins will make sure that community members don't get the shaft.
