Glitches in retail version... am I seeing red?

Hey guys,

Am new to Tactical Gamer, so hi every1! This place feels right!

I played the retail version yesterday evening. And just like in the demo version, at times I see *friendly* players with a *red* tag, and some *enemies* with a *blue* tag. Result is a few TKs, and some unexpected deaths.

Is something wrong with my eyes? Do I play too much? Any1 else has experienced this?

Cheers

I dont know what to tell you, but keep an eye on your radar. It will give you an idea of the friendlies around you. If the guy off in the distance isnt on your radar, shoot him.

That happened to me in the demo as well! I killed the same guy about 4 times because his name was always in red. But then I began to think...maybe only friendlies show names over their head.

Maybe someone can answer this. If the person is an enemy, do they have a name above their head at all?

Taking your eye off the enemy to look at your radar will usually result in you being dead

I have seen mention of this before. So I do not believe you are crazy.
However, I have not experienced this myself.

Enemies and friends have their name appear from a distance if you shoot at them

Friends that are nearby have their name hovering above them.

Hmm, I personally havn't seen this happen. If you google for it or check out the tech support forum here/elsewhere you may be able to find out if this is a common issue, or if you are just having a mild case of insanity

Either way welcome to the swamp. I'm new here too since...uhh...yesterday but its a cool place. Hope you enjoy your stay

Because of this glitch or whatever, I stopped looking at if a name was red and actually look at the uniform. If you remember which side you are on, it is pretty easy to tell the difference in uniforms...at least on high settings it is.

Yes, it can be very fustrating. Always seems to happen to me when im in a heated battle, and i dont realize before its too late. I am also keeping an eye on the radar now after that happened twice.

Many times I'll hit the comma rose and do a spot check to see if the computer will call them as an enemy.
