Just joined, anyone from the UK?
Hi, just joined after hearing good things about your online play on the BF2 server. Have the IP address and will try tonight I think, is there a password? And are there any UK players registered here I could play against if the US server (I am presuming TG is a US setup?) gets too laggy.
Anyway, hope to see you on the battlefield and nice to be here to be here nice (where's the Bruce Forthsth emoticon when you need it?). Mace |

Re: Just joined, anyone from the UK?
Hi Mace
![]() I'm from the UK, and there are quite a few of us about, and as ricky said I get no lag at all either. We all do join squads and play tactically, and I think that is why the server is getting such a good reputation. I playa SL a lot, and so am in the middle. I know what a jopy it is to have a good commander above you, and how fun it is to have a good squad working with you to get the job done. Most of the guys I play with (and the general concensus of this group) is that it is a lot more enjoyable when it is played this way. I'd definitely suggest getting a mic if you don't already have one, as it makes things a lot easier on everyone, and more fun! If you see me on feel free to join my squad for some good times ![]() Ronnie_Raygun |

I had a good friend from the UK, we met a long time ago and never really stoped talking to each other. She was nice to me :)...
She used to play CS with me, but now shes to busy going to night clubs and stuff... That and she got a boyfriend. Leaves me outa the picture...

Guys,
not from the UK but living in Italy. What gives you're thinking? Time. We're on the same time (just one hour difference) which would make it easier for us to get together and try and replicate the fun that US folks have while it's deep into the night for us. I'm mic ready, will delight you with my accent, and I'm totally teamwork oriented. ![]() |

Re: Just joined, anyone from the UK?
Mace the trick to that is to just keep trying. When the server is not passworded there are a lot of 'randoms' that join. This is because there is typically enough core gamers that know TG to at least half fill up ther server, and busy servers tend to be the most attractive. Just keep clicking join - it typically takes me about 1 minute to get in when the server shows as full.
I play probably 3 nights a week or so, from anywhere around 7pm BST to 1am BST (BST, British Summer Time is GMT+1, so PST +9 I think). And as you saw Mace, the servers are pretty busy even then! |

Re: Just joined, anyone from the UK?
UK based here too. Have to say the TG server is the best I've played on. Played from 2am till 4am Saturday night and had a blast. Got in a couple of great squads, it's so good when everyone works together and uses VoIP. Another good site for teamplay is www.teamplayfirst.com, they use a UK based server and I hang around there a bit too.
