**IN BREAKING NEWS TODAY, a BF2 Gamer was found dead in his chair this morning....cause of death seems to be strangulation with his headphone cord and massive head trauma due to multiple collisions with his monitor......

The only comments from the gamers wife so far have been "Pot pie my ASS!" More news as the story develops......

My wife just sits and laughs at me...she finds my VoIP chat endlessly amusing. Thank god I got married before VoIP really caught on, because if any of my GFs had heard me commanding a squad I'd have been single forever.

my fiance knows i enjoy FPS and gaming so she just plays her own games and actually enjoys watching....endless questioning and always laughing at the rag doll effects. Just as long as i dont start to go and game during her time we are fine.......did that saturday!

but shes a nurse and works mostly nights so imm in the clear

Heh. It's bad..but I'm glad I"ll be in the same boat myself. My wife is going for medical school and she'd much rather work nights instead of days. I have no problem with that

yesterday I was in the hospital having a procedure done and I had to get an IV so they could put me in lala land. I pass out just at the thought of needles ...my wife is with me in the prep room and they are pumping me full of o2 and saline trying to keep me from passing out..I'm white as a ghost and my wife holding my hand looks at me and says...Just think honey..when we get home you can sit around tonight and tomorrow playing battlefield 2!

She rocks.

Date night fellas. That's how it works. With my Wife, as long as we have OUR time, I can have MY time.

Give and take all around. Though she actually likes FPS games and has had fun watching me play and talk over VOIP. So there's hope in that regard that I might actually get her to give BF2 a shot.

Now how you guys would react to hearing a Female voice over VOIP would be a different story altogether.

Hmmmm.....maybe that's not such a good idea now that I think of it......
