I was in game last night (private server) doing some airial support and relized, well kind of all ready knew this, the black hawk is so much better then any other transport/support chopper. but the i rememberd the black hawk from a screen shot in the beginning of the game...

I assume you mean the rocket launchers? Heh, the chopper is strong enough without those. But no, I've never seen it in game. Probably something they just did for a movie.

Or they originally had rockets on all transport choppers but it didn't work for game balance so they removed it. THe black hawk has better gun power. BUt if you want to get your guys there alive, the MEC and Chinese choppers are better - the blackhawk is much more open and easier to shoot individuals riding in the back.

I've watched a demo movie for BF2, and they were showing a Marine pointing a laser at a target for the aircraft to destroy.

Things change as they play test and find out what works.

I'd like to see them up the rate of fire a bit on the MEC/PLA chopper guns. It might be accurate the way it is now, but man... those mini-guns are just brutal comparatively speaking.

I'd have to agree in that the Blackhawk guns are the best of the 3.....however, I think the MEC attack helo has the best anti-infantry guns out of the 3 attack choppers.

Those things are just brutal IMO.

Freakin Black Hawks are like.........INVINCIBLE. I've hit one with 2 (count 'em) 2 tank rounds before, and granted, they start smoking, but then they'll take off and then 30 seconds later, come back and waste me. Stupid choppers!!

Do what I do: stop trying to down the chopper, and down the personnel instead. I've taken out half a squad before by launching a grenade into the crew area, and I'm getting pretty good at getting the grenade into the gunner window as well.

I don't know the name of that map that that picture is of, but last night a squad and I were tearin apart on people, just lighting them up all around on server 1(blackhawk).

in the black hawk a good crew will have ...2 medics 2 engineers and what ever else
so that the engies can sit in the crew area and just repair...medics so you can hover and heal and assult/support to lay cover fire when needed....

2 medic, 2 engineers, 1 support, 1 AT is what I always take. Although I used to go with 2 AT. The medics and support need to be pilot/gunners as their abilities are passive. The engineers should be in the hotseats with the AT. Always know which side your AT is on so you can point him in the direction of the tanks. Pilot should be squad leader so as he is safest and everyone can respawn back into the heli if they die.

Yeah I like different things about 3 of the choppers

I love the BH's mini-guns those things are fierce.
I love the Mi-28's Cannon, those explosive shells are fantastic for taking out infantry
I love the Cobra's percieved agility. Not sure if it is actually different from the other attack helo's but somehow it just feels that way.

The MEC/PLA choppers really need better side guns so that they're just as viable as the BlackHawk for ground attack.
