A wee note on the use of transport vehicles.
If you are attempting to get into a transport vehicle and see that a squad leader is present (signified by a circled number above the vehicle, or a number behind the vehicle on the map) and you are not in that squad, don't get in!
It's very annoying when I try to transport my squad someplace, and someone not in my squad decides to come along for the ride, leaving one or more members of my squad rideless. If there's no other vehicles around for the guys on foot (and there usually aren't), I'm more than happy to sit in place until the non squad member(s) gets bored enough to jump out (after having ignored my requests time and again). Hopefully it's only the uneducated rambo masses that are doing this, but I figured I'd put this out there just in case.

It's sleeper agents sent by the Enemy to annoy you and foil all your best laid plans.
No, Really. IMO, they should just stick with the Arty fire and countless Air support....those seem to follow you/us like the plague. hehe Seriously though, I couldn't agree more with your post. Hopefully time is all it will take to fix the issue with the general public.

Re: A wee note on the use of transport vehicles.
It would seem the 20 spots vacated by the TG regulars last night (the 1st night of Wyzcrak's private server / walk the walk program) were filled wholly by the "uneducated rambo masses" you speak of. I lost count of the number of Blackhawks I saw take off on lone wolf missions.
I've had some dodgy sessions here the past week or so and I'm not sure you can chalk them up to just holidays/growing pains. Don't get me wrong...a crap night on a TG server still beats the hell out of 99% of the servers out there. But we started out on such a high note here that any dip in play quality is really noticeable. I guess I'll need to pony up some dough to sit at the big boy table when my travel schedule eases up in a week or so. |

The SL needs to learn to wait for their people also. I have been left a few times and had to fend for myself. There is a lot of people who will jump in the vechile and take off without letting their teammates have a ride. If you get in a Hummer or Dune Buggy blow the horn and wait a minute.
My 2cents.
