I really, REALLY hope I don't get banned!

Playing tonight, I got kicked for excessive TK's! I was trying to stop mynthol (i think that was his name) from Tking, but in the process, I was kicked for killing him too often! It really sucks when a game with so much teamwork goes down the tubes when some CS'er shows up and ruins the flow! Well, I really hope this does'nt go on my permanent record or anything! It would be a shame if I could'nt play on the best server I've ever played on! I just figured I should explain myself...

if i understand the banning system right it goes away after every round so you are okay....

How do you know he's a CS'er? There are lots of good CS'ers out there. No need to think that all CS'ers do that.

Generally, TKing someone isn't an accepted solution to them TKing others. The only real way to get rid of someone fast is to contact an admin via TeamSpeak. Sometimes a global chat message will also be a good alert to others.

It's not just "generally"... it's "unequivocally" not an accepted solution to deal with TKers. Don't intentionally TK. Ever. If there's a problem player, fire up TeamSpeak and say hi to an an admin. If it's freaky late or something, fire off a PM regarding the situation.

Brennus, when anyone is automatically kicked/banned from the server for TKing, it is a one round ban. Also note that the stock kick message always references TKs as a possible reason.

As several others have pointed out, TKing is not an acceptable practice, ever. Your best bet is to contact an admin via teamspeak and if that doesn't work, then try IM and if that doesn't work, then shoot a PM. One thing to do is get that players name. Open up your console (~) and find out who TKed you. We'll deal with the situation fro m there.

bummer...o well we kind of need those lists i guess, thats what keeps TG growing and doing so well, sticking to the rules and standards of TG are only going to be kept if everyone sticks to it...ill keep that name in mind.....

i have a simalar list "Gonna be sniped List"...ive got a few names..

Please PM and admin with any player complaints and include the players in-game name and what they were doing. The admins will handle the situation from there.

Don't take offense to my statememt! I stopped playing CS a long time ago because, in general, the majority of the croud is made up of l33t haX0rs! That's not true for all of 'em, but they ruined the game for me, and I'm stilled pissed off for it! It happened right when the MOD went retail if I recall!

Everyone else.

I've ALWAYS took it upon myself to kill TKers as fast as they spawn up! It denies them the satisfaction of killing other people! I have never played on a public server with so much teamwork and cooperation, so I guess I will just have to refrain from my old habits, and let the powers that be take care of it! I wasn't aware of the severity of the ban, so when I was kicked, It was hard for me to think that I may have to play on another public server again! That is a horrible thought...

Since then there's alot done about hackers, still not enough but okay. That's why |TG| have their own servers and so does the clan were I play at. Keeps the n00bs and hax0rs away if you Pw them and stick teamplay on them.
