Agreed. It would save us alot of headaches as admins, and give us better control of the gameplay.

I like the idea of scaling the private server down to 16 player maps. What's to lose? Sure, maybe there will be less vehicles but there are always the other two servers if you're a tank/chopper junkie. Me, I pound the ground!

We had some good games going. It's much different being a CO on a 16 player map and with the reduced number of players, I was leaving my team a man short since I stuck on the CO screen instead of joining the battle. I'll have to re-adjust how I CO on these smaller maps.

It was pretty fun last night, and a refreshing change from the chaotic 64 player battles. Requires a different mindset, for sure.

If we can get at least two full squads on each side, I think this server could be a total blast!

C'mon, SM's...give the private server a shot. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Rincewind, you were Johnny-on-the-spot with the friggin' artillery. Were you playing actively too? I saw you pretty often...

This indeed worked very well. PW the server and list the PW here for all to use. That way only community members (paying or non-paying) get to play here with a like minded attitude, but hold scheduled events as the public servers are great for promoting TG. Run a weekend event too as we're not all in N.America and there's at least 5 hours bewteen us. Maybe a saturday afternoon, EST so we can fit everyone in?

Thats a good idea jex, but anyone with a right mind can get on without registering, i say we make it like CS:S and have members look for the password in the SOP and what not.

i like the all day event thing, its great when im in the server and get some british guy on my squad or cymba with is jamacia accent.

The all day thing sounds like a great idea. I'm struggling to find like minded players UK-side, would be nice to get on TG when it's busier

Yeh I'm in the UK to and the servers only really fill up close to midnight over here.
