I would agree that on RANKED servers the pubs will be going for points and not the win. However on TG servers, DEFENSE is CRITICAL! I don't think this will affect the TG servers.

Are they going to give points for those teams that detroy assets? Great
, though even without the points I don't understand why a ranked server wouldn't want assets blown. Without the ability to see where the enemy are, call in arty, etc - you in deep doo doo.I guess what my grandmother told me about those sinister ranked servers was true... |

Last night on the TV station map where MEC has 3 UCB s and USMC has all capturable bases with the TV station in the back my squad defended that TV station the whole time. We did not even move out once except the tank going forward.
It was pretty fun from my perspective. We kept the chopper safe for Squad 1 Artillery and other commander assets safe. We lost the flag only one time for 30 seconds or so and we got em back. I think it was Bowdie's squad trying again and again to take that flag from us. lol. Needless to say we won the map. Props to luus, Cingular, AB, Rex. So defending is fun and defending is very fun if u r keeping an important point safe. |
