Noticed somthing amazing...

Over the last few days (week) teamplay has been getting really tight at night when all of the regulars are playing. If the commander asks a squad to do something it usually gets done and people dont seem to be complaining as much as they used to. I mean my CO last night (before my new radeon drivers crapped out) told me to order people from my squad that werent flying, I did so and they left without complaining and joined another infantry squad.

This is pretty damn cool considering the game is only a month old Imagine what it will be like in a few months, damn.

Re: Noticed somthing amazing...

I guess we had some flooding of the pubbies and the pubbies who are lone wolf in heart realized this is not the place for them... The pubbies who wanna stay stayed... I have also seen more dedicated squad leaders who can hold a CP or attack and get the CP...

The game is getting harder now. I had try number of different things to get a flag now coz the defending squad was not some random squad.. They were tough.

Re: Noticed somthing amazing...

Obviously, the games are better with regulars on.. And as we get more regulars here who understand our style, we get a larger base of good players.. And then it seems most of them come together at night.

I can't wait to play again this Saturday with the password.

I don't find this amazing at all. That's what TG is about.

Last nights HOC v. TG match was a perfect example: take 8 TG regulars that hadn't played together, put them up against a clan, and see what happens. The result? Instant teamwork!

If only we could instill that ethic into CS:S, we would be all set!

That's where TG started as I recall (original CS) and we can instill this ethic in any game, as long as we make sure we get the message across

Yes, I joined a while ago by random, and stuck around. It's great here, and getting ever better.

The initial wave of pubbies finding us has slowed. We've had many stick around and form our "regulars". These regulars now populate our server more than the pubs. It's great to see.

Re: Noticed somthing amazing...

What was even more amazing to me was a week or more ago. I'd forgotten to post it on the forums here at the time. We were playing some map, I honestly don't remember which one. However as MEC , we didn't have a commander and USMC did, so people we crying for someone to be commander.

We never got one but the amazing thing was, we were STILL winning. It was a sight to behold. Squads were holding flags, attacking enemy flags, reinforcing flags that were under attack, all seemingly working together. The only way someone could know we didn't have a commander is that we had no arty/UAV/Supplies support.

Everyone was amazed how well the squads were working together w/o any centralised leadership. At one point we had USMC trailing by 300 tickets even tho THEY had a commander.

Funnily enough near the end of that game we actually got a commander and we started doing WORSE. So he promptly left

I'm sorry I forgot to post about this when it happened. But it was great to see.

Re: Noticed somthing amazing...

There is no "I" in Team!!!!! I personally have a blast playing on the servers.... I was on the other night (Tuesday) at 1:00am PST and the server was full. I know the TG servers are getting a good rep because I was in their yesterday before work and and the few people their were raving about them...

Thats me! I ONLY play on TG servers, and usually always play on a weeknight after 730 EST. I try to ALWAYS play on the password protected nights as well, as the gameplay is even MORE stunning during those times.

TG, you guys rock!

yeah

i see what you mean guys, today i had some really good time playing bf2 on some servers.. actually i played on 2 servers on the first one after 3 hours of playing i got banned for team killing, 2 guys jumped under my car which after i saved them because i was a medic and said 5 times sorry lol however they didnt respond to it very well they voted to banning.. and in the other server, it was some clan server very good one i'd say i had some great time, coz ppl kept playing by teams, i just loved it.. but in the end it became just a lame game.. my own team member started sealing black hawks and flying it alone leaving everybody bedhind, then somebody very smart got into apache and started shoting ppl at the helipad ( ppl who were left behind ) thinking that we were enemy lol... so sometimes bf2 can be one of the best war games iver ever played, but somtimes it can get really annoying when you cant even stay alive for 2 seconds after spawning becuse somebody likes very much rushing the spawnpoints which they cant capture

anyway how many years would i need to play to get to the top rank?
