That spot was for me..I felt bad when I heard you on teamspeak. Honest mistake by the admin but I still felt bad especially since it was right at the end of the Karkand map...which at the time I didn't realize. Next time I ask for a spot I'm going to check the server status and make sure the game in not at the end.

Sorry bud.

It was discussed in the past...don't know if it'll ever come to light, though.
Don't be so hasty, my friend. TG may surprise you again!

So is TG tax exempt? heh. Or is that why you said not-for-profit instead of non-profit

Re: FUN...until kicked

I would be all over joining if they had a stat tracker.. and medals would be awesome too.. but just a stat tracker would change my view fast..

May I ask who programs the scripts you use? I asume EA doesnt provide them.. im not a programmer myself but was just interested.

I'm not sure that I really want to see my stats...

There are many stats that are valuable to the player to learn like efficiency with a weapon, etc. If a 3rd party app comes to fruitition that allows us to track these things, we'll consider using them. The same goes for medals & awards. While they might not be the same that the game provides, they are still nice things to have/see.

Re: FUN...until kicked

I dont care about stats or medals or any of that crap. i just want to play and have fun and work as a team to complete an objective. if it means i get killed every time i get in a boat (ghost you know about this... ) then so be it. as long as i have fun and play the right way then who cares about stats. i found this site out of pure luck and am happy to have done so. those of you know that ranked servers and public forums can be a burden and no fun at times. it seems like its always lone wolfs. well i hate that.

Every game ive played so far on TG servers have been awesome. the teamwork is incredible and the guys are great. I only got in a couple of times last night and was kicked out both times. but you know what, big deal. im new, im not a supporting member and i just got in. im ok with it. i will gladly support this site in due time. im still getting a feel for everything and everyone. but i can tell you right now i would have no qualms about changing my tag to |TG|Firemedic in a heartbeat and be part of an outstanding community of gamers.

Si. I've made all the tweaks here, though I need to tip my hat to Sarc for his variation on the squadless kick script.

Re: FUN...until kicked

Reading thru this thread, I just did a quick n dirty cost/benefit analysis. I realized I haven't used Netflix since about oh, Jun 21? And I've logged at LEAST 20 hrs/wk on the TG servers.

So I just cancelled Netflix and am now a supporting member. Even if I don't have a job as of 9/2, I know it'll be well worth the money.

That's the spirit! Cancel that other crap you don't need and give your money where it counts!
