why don't we have the battle recorder on?

when i played on ars clan's servers they had the battlefield recorder enabled, and there were a few times when looking at the previous game was something i really looked forward too. its really fun seeing memorable events from your enemies perspective, not to mention analyzing tactics used. it would be really fun seeing how 'professional' caliber squads acted and played, not to mention what really happened to that black hawk you fired 4 missiles into. just wondering if it takes more bandwidth or what, kuz i for one, certainly would love to see it turned on.

Its already on on Server #2, EA doesn't recommend running it on 64 player servers

Given the stability and netcode of the game already, if EA doesn't recommend it, it probably means it'd ignite the processor of the server if attempted and they'd rather not have the lawsuits.

ill see what ars is running, but yeah, if ea is even SLIGHTLY suggesting otherwise it must be pretty bad... like... mind numbingly awful.

It's been discussed before at length, and it's running where it's feasible to do so.
