Question I Was Kicked!

Hmmm...

Well I was kicked off of a full server to make room for someone else , and I can't help but feel a little frustrated! I was on for at least 1 hour & 1/2, commanding a full squad, and generally contributing to my team in a possitive way! I consider myself a regular, and I can't see why I was chosen to leave over some of the "unknowns" that were playing! I know I shouldn't take it personal, but I can't help but feel a little red in the face!

Like being the last one picked in gym class...

Re: I Was Kicked!

heheh, yeah I know the feeling. A harsh experience, indeed. Once, I was playing on Strike at Karkand being a good MEC medic and stuff and suddenly, the screen froze. I said, "uh oh" and looked at the corner of the screen and the damn green letters appeared "Kicking!!! aznboy91 for a supporting member ..." It's like people don't want you anymore, and they want to replace you with someone else. This is even worse when you're in a good squad. I don't understand why would someone kick you though, you're one of the best SL that I know of. me, yeah, I'm just an average player. *sad*

But I don't complain about it. These people paid the server with their hard-earned money and who am I to say they can't do that?

Re: I Was Kicked!

We have all had our turns at being kicked to make room for supporting members (SM), I have several of times. But, I like this community so much, I became a supporting member. I know not everyone has the means to be a supporting member, but having access to the full servers is one of the perks for being a supporting member. I understand your frustration but hang in there, this is still the best place to play imho and the Admins try their best to be as fair as possible. Sometimes non-supporting members get kicked, when it's their turn to make room. I hope I made sense and am not too far off base.

Re: I Was Kicked!

Brennus, I'm really sorry to hear that. At the very least, I hope it wasn't my request to join that got you kicked, as I enjoy your squad leadership and have had some great games with you. I can't remember, but do you play with the "TG" prefix in-game? If not, that will help reduce the chances of being kicked.

Also, if you kill asch a lot, he'll kick you regardless of being a supporter or not.

Re: I Was Kicked!

You should probably add the "TG" when you create the account. As far as I'm aware , there is not way to edit the account name once you've created it. That's what happened to me. If you've already created your account the only other option is to create a new account, but you're limited to one account per email address.

Hope this helps.

PM Apophis, and tell him that you want to add |TG| to your name and he will help without creating a new account. Helped me with mine.....

This works if you want to change your forum name. To change BF2 handles you need to create a new account with EA.

Re: I Was Kicked!

No player who is not a supporting member should expect to have full access to the server, regardless of whether you are recognizable or not. Soon, the process will be automated, and then it won't matter how 'famous' you are.

Actually, we're going to start tracking how many times a player kills an admin. Those with high admin kill counts will be first on the list.

That can't be good news for me either...

I really have to think about a membership, cause I can't get enough of those AFK admin kills :-)
