You can manually turn the HUD on and off in game from the console.

renderer.drawHud 0 to turn off the hud

renderer.drawHud 1 to turn it back on

Why don't you just use |TG|Santa?

My random guess is that colour change is done like this:
|Cxxxx

Where xxxx is used to pick the colour, and the default is orange.

yeah im in the pics in the squad we had awsome fun on that map just look for my name. in the first pic im the last one 2 the rite and on the second pic im on the back of the car on the rite. and we had alot of enemys trying 2 take that flag at 1 point that was 1 of 2 flags in the game well hope 2 c all of u guys on wednesday [pw nite]

Could be, but the pipe is the most retarded key to use to specify color, given all the clans, etc, that use the pipe in their clan designation. Sheesh.
