TG Community and Mods

Will TG play mods on maybe the private server if teh community agrees upon it? Because seeing how well Forgotten Hope and POE (two of the biggest mod names out there) are coming along, and seeing as i was a dedicated POE player, ill hate to see people leave TG to play their favorite mods, and i myself will have to divide my time up between these mods and TG. i just simply dont like BF2 Vanilla, it has too many problems with balance and damage issues i dont agree with. also, im sure everyone in the TG community has some sort of opinion on this im just curious.

also when you reply, post the mods that your interested in.

Re: TG Community and Mods

I'd like to see the mods get further along, but I'm not against TG having a mod server. My biggest issue with it would be that the core game needs some pretty fundamental work on it (IE: more than gameplay) before I trust mods to do more than look pretty.

Re: TG Community and Mods

BF2 needs a mod that fixes the IFF. But I digress.

We won't rule out a mod just because it's a mod, if that's what you're asking. If there's interest, and it falls within our playstyle, we'll consider it.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

Re: TG Community and Mods

Well I'm hoping we can run Mech Tactical Simulator when it comes out in Decemberish. That's just because I'm a mech nutter and I like TG. I'll be playing games with TG for a long time to come.

Re: TG Community and Mods

I know FH has already garnered some support from the TG community. I love the idea of using a TG server to play mods... perhaps once the mods have matured, we run a weekly poll on the top mods and thats the mod that gets loaded for that week.

Re: TG Community and Mods

Ah ha

This is the thread I should have posted in

I also would like to see FH and DC in the future. I am certain many would be interested in following a MOD for a while.

Cheers
