Question on moves/driving (keys)....

Hi to all,

just managed to play yesterday again after 3 weeks (damn real live :-D ) and noticed some movement behaviour which confuses me.

It seems that some people can move sideways when prone in some kind of rolling (just like in joint operations) which seems also to be faster as when lying prone an hitting A/D keys.

Peeking seems not be possible. (only round the corner and get shoot)

Some other movements which also made me wondering how they do it but had seen them only once and could not remember what exactly they had done.

BTW, how to honk the car horn ???? (key?)

Am I missing some keys or else ?

I only know the w,a,s,d, and y,x,ctrl. and their moves.

Yesterday (karkand + oilfields) was quite fun, but in general it was extremly confusing for me and I died a lot but I am learning (albait very slowly). Hopefully I was not too much of an embaressment for my team/squad(s).

to do a sideway role you just move to the left or right then hit the prone key, your view is uneffected but your character with play the animation of rolling to a prone, as for the horn, just left click when driving the vechile

Heh... just don't pull an icky and try to honk the horn in the tank while following your friendly troops.

I think it's that you find the friendly tanks rear end ugly. That's my opinion, take it or leave it .

lol! ive done that few times myself, the tank should have a damn horn in my opinion, youd think the sound of huge rolling metal would be enough to get people to move but i still run down friendlys who happlessly fail to clear a path

i know what you mean. i was literally sniping on the hill overlooking the hotel in oman. a MEC tank rolled over the hill and literally over me and i only heard it when my camera panned out showing my dead body. armor in this game has a distinct stealth charicteristic that often gets friendly kills

oh man, i have definatly killed a few of my guys accidently left clicking in a tank.

the scariest thing as a sniper, is looking through your scope, hearing a vehicle, looking and having it run over you, but not kill you, so you stand up confused, give away your position and get shot by someguy just passing through.

I think all vehicles should have horns including aircraft. I would honk to no end. Even flying helicopter, I would honk at random intervals just because it amuses me.
