C4 on aircraft bombs and missiles... doesn't work

Just in case anyone was wondering... I tested this out the other day by placing C4 on each of the bombs and a couple missiles on a J-10. After taking off and shooting everything I had, I landed in a field surprised to see the C4 still on the plane -- but suspended in midair right underneath the wings where the bombs and missiles were supposed to be.

I have a screenshot of it that I can post later. If it did work it still probably wouldn't be too useful except for coolness points, but I don't know what the blast radius of the bombs are compared to c4. Maybe it would give that extra damage needed for near misses on bombing.

I tired this a while back as well but didn't have any luck with it. A bummer really. I was hoping to have an uber missle so that my flying skill could be compensated for.

You were going to shoot the missiles backwards?

Re: C4 on aircraft bombs and missiles... doesn't work

Anyone know what happens to C4 attached to vehicles when the vehicle gets destroyed? Does the C4 stay around or does it get obliterated by the vehicles destruction?

Great Idea! Now to talk to my techys about this...

And yes, C4 does blow up with the vehicle. No cluster mines for you.

I am not sure what the exact direction of this thread is but I remember putting C4 on a enemy plane several months ago and destroying the jet when it was in mid air. This was on a public server.

Pickle, I think they were trying to put C4 on the bombs so the explosion would be bigger when they hit the target. Good idea too bad it doesn't work.

Ya oughta try putting the C4 where the gun turret is so that if you shoot, you explode. I havent found a purpose for this, but im working on it.

it is pretty darn cool putting c4 on the jet then blowing it while you are parachuting after bailing. makes a good blackhawk killer =)
