Needless to say I was a bit surprised to see this one and truly appreciate the recognition from the community! I have the humility to say that there are quite a few people who I felt were more deserving before me especially as they will step up in prime time, night after night and consistently do a fantastic job.

I know the times I have commanded, I try to give the squad leaders information that I know I would want to have as a squad leader and support the squads in their roles. I also do know they majority of the community has not seen me command, so that is something I need to do more often. It is always the squads doing the work, but if I can give them the information they need then that win is much more likely.

Thanks again, and congratulations to everyone else who earned an award!

Congrats all. I didn't even know there was a distinguished defense ribbon. Tooo cool. All the awards are obviously well-deserved.

Does this mean I can have 2 SL ribbons in my sig?
