Re: Mishkan's thoughts on PassNights

Thank you. Yeah, I had a blast last night. I was really fed up with the community on the public servers and I am glad I found Tactical Gamer. After playing here, I don't think I'll go back to the regular public servers. The community here is the best I've ever seen and for me, that can make or break an online game.

I've also noticed a larger number of idiots playing in PW games... Probably due to the Admin broadcasting how to get the password before the server goes down/changes to PW mode. Regulars already know where to get the password, I don't see a need to broadcast how to get the password. Those that really do like the TG server, tend to show up on the forums anyway, no?

Hi,
I found out about TG last week and have been playing there for the last 4 days. I totally agree with Skeptic, i also don't feel much for the other public servers. It's all so unorganized and there's alot of selfishness. Luckily i don't care about stats so TG is perfect for me. I have a good time every night and even tried playing commander a few times! (whole new experience if squads actually listen to you!

So i'm hoping that i'm able to continue playing on TG and if not, i'm forced to go back to other publice servers all by myself sniff! But i understand the problem of the topic.

Run your servers for the mature gamers, not against the immature ones.

I dissagree with the last statement, the immature people are the ones that ruin the experience, if you let the immature ones do their thing, they will never learn. And really, some people cant or wont help themselves.

Re: Mishkan's thoughts on PassNights

I am new to Tg also and Honestly, I have not played any of the games in which you speak of. But, I can say that the welcome I have recieved in coming to TG has been great and that is a credit to all who continue to make TG what it is and that is a community.
I can understand the frustrations of the experienced TG players. I know that my fears of getting into a TG game would be letting my team down be my not so good play....Can you use the 2nd server as maybe a training ground on a certain night. If a few admins or experienced Tg players would be willing to take some time and noobs under their wing and show them the ropes. Then at the end of the night if the admins feel the noobs could play on the pw night then pm the password to the noobs. then you might be able to limit the number of bad players. I hope that make sense.
