Quick question (dling SF in UK)

Hey,

Does anyone know if when you download the Downloader and then BF2:SF...does it allow people in Europe to unlock it yet. I seen the release date in Europe is for the 25th but as you download it from EA US I am wondering if it will allow you to unlock it from the US release date?

Thanks

Re: Quick question (dling SF in UK)

I think you'd possibly have to have a credit card with a US billing address to activate this way.

I (probably like many other Europ...oh, Asia...Ocea....erm....hell, everyone outside of....that place over the pond) downloaded expecting a simultaneous release online.

After all, why would they do otherwise ?
Any delay between the two would merely provide an opportunity for pirates to profit from the demand, so surely they wouldn......

pfft & *shrug*

Well, next time I see an EA whinge about piracy and how we should combat this evil menace I will be laughing.

We got the demand...where's the supply ?

There, that's much better. Thanks for bearing with my brief rant

(all that said EA still has my money, so why would they think they're wrong ?
lol)

Re: Quick question (dling SF in UK)

Actually there was a thread on totalbf2.com about this. All the guy had to do was change his player account information to USA and then put in a US zip code and he could install it.

Careful, you have no recourse if this messes up somehow.

Re: Quick question (dling SF in UK)

I can understand distribution delays for physical hard-drives but wth do they not let the game unlock at the same time worldwide? Stupidity runs rampant at these large corporations.
