Not if you do the little corpse trick and cause them to respawn without a weapon It would be extremly difficult and the angles wouldn't be nearly as good...but if the BF recorder doesn't work....it's better than nothing.

Another option - big pain in the ass - is fallback to the last version BF2 recorder worked on. If it was 1.03, start a server with version 1.03 and you'd have to have everyone particpating to install a second copy of BF2 and patch it to 1.03. Like I said...major pain...but it would work.

i think we can get other things out of the way while we wait for the new patch and hopefully it will fix BR

for now i only have about 5 acting volunteers anyway.... and around 3-4 voice actors

Is there confirmation that BR is fully broken with the patch? It might just be something to be reset on our TG servers. When I said above that Tempus was looking at it, I meant he was looking at our server to see what's up.

Is this still on? If it is then I will borrow some money and sign up aas a supporting member tomorrow, if not then I will wait till I get paid next week...

Anyway, if we get BattleRecorder working, will we record it using that, make a camera file, then have someone with a powerful PC use Fraps to record it? I can render high quality frames on my computer (albeit around 1fps...), but audio sync is impossible...

OK fellers i have an announcement to make!


Pvt Meister has been assigned the "Audio Director" position. he will be in charge of music and arranging vioce dialog.

I will still direct the vioce acting, but the raw stuff goes to meister along with all the privelges
of deciding what music to put where

Sooo....... there are other positions available they just need volunteers (if you can help just step up)

Battle recorder is officially NOT running right now... it will be a bit before either the admins can fix it
or the patch does it for us (whichever comes first) [fingers crossed for a good patch this time]

So filming cannot commence untill that issue is settled

There are an awful lot of other things to do before filming commences

I still need an official writer
there are a ton of good story ideas in the threads i started so i need someone to help me filter through it and come up with a good plot and then write the specifics
