Where are all my screenies??

Whenever I push the Prnt Scrn button, its obvious that it uses up system resources for half a second, but when I look under My Docs > BF2> screenshots, they aren't there. they used to go there, but they don't nemore.

Also, its ok to delete everything in the cache folder, under my docs > bf2, right? cuz theres one file in there that looks a little weird.

1.2 Patch broke the screenshot function. Either use Fraps or wait until 1.21. You now have to paste from the clipboard immediately into a file for the screenshot function to work.

Yep it doesn't work anymore, it still freezes your game for a fraction of a second because it's still taking a screenshot, but it's putting it in your current copy/paste memory and taking another one just overwrites it.

Or you can use xfire if you've got that, works like a charm, and can upload to your xfire profile for other friends to see.

I thought I read somewhere that while it broke the "Print Screen" button but you could use F12 instead.

woooow, they reeeally screwed up w/ the 1.2 patch. guess if i want screenies, ill just have to load up fraps.

I had a freakin 40:15 for k:d ratio last night!! i think that was worth a screenie. =(

Bingo. I use XFire to take all of my screenshots. Mostly because I didn't know what the screenshot button was in BF2 and because I can upload them if I'd like. (Like my J-10 parking job pic!)
