No kidding, they had like 1 question....I think TG would of been a great audience. I would of had 100 questions.
*edit just finished the entire vid, maybe they asked 6 questions total. All in all, I'd love to get in the open beta for patch 1.4 and leave some feedback. I'm interested in this infantry mode even though its just in alpha stage atm. Last edited by UnDeaD77; 06-24-2006 at 11:12 PM. |

I think the audience are clanners though.

I saw this interview yesterday and Colin Clarke had lost my interest before the first two minutes was up. Seemed like a bunch of blah blah crap that wasn't worth my 41 minutes.

Some of those guys. Damn. Yeah, it does look like a talk to some clans. I think I noticed the TSR clan, (Twinkie/Smores Raiders). Since I don't follow progress on BF2142, I thought he had some good content. Maybe it's old for others. I guess one reason for this talk was to try to stiffle negative rumors about the game. He seemed concerned with addressing game balance. Of special note to me was his comment about dolphin diving. Like in BF1942, but not BF2 (sadly), in BF2142 you cannot go prone and get that perfect shot a fraction of a second later. Also, they say they're trying to stop other things like bunnyhopping and (did he say?) prone spanning. It looks like they are going to beef up the Squad Leader role in BF2142. That could be good. They'll give them more tools to improve their effectiveness. Cool. Interesting about the collision detection problems in BF2 are not in BF2142, but he said it could be fixed in BF2 1.4 patch. (BF2142 is the same engine as BF2.) And, maybe they stop dolphin diving, fix C4 throwing, and maybe stop bunnyhopping, too. Yes to what undead77 said: "I think TG would of been a great audience." Not too many questions from their crowd. Maybe the audience was really tired from a clan tournament... well, at least for the guys experiencing suger withdrawal. |

Interesting about the red tag bug. I haven't seen it in a long time.
2142 looks like a lot of fun. Does anyone know if TG plans to have a 2142 server? Or even Quake wars for that matter? |

I had red tag earlier on a pub, I still see it quite a bit. I see how its a tough bug to figure out, and if they finally found out whats causing it then a fix is welcome in my book.
