Talking Don't forget tacmod!

Guys I've got to tell you that this mod is a heck of a lot of fun, and a lot more tactical than anything else we've got going on. So this Thursday some of you need to zip on over to the TM server and play a game or two. Trust me.

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

Seriously.

POE2 is great and I love it, but just a few months ago the new maps came out for TacMod, and I can't imagine you all have played it so much that you're bored or have mastered it... I never even got to play some of those maps, what with losing my broadband, and work schedule conflicts.

Plus we go some new members who have yet to experience it in all it's tacky...er, Tactile (tacticular? tactitillating?) glory!

So let's hit the Tacmod at least once a week as a a large group and support OUR OWN MOD! GO TACMOD!

And yes, I will continue to whine about the lack of crosshairs even as I play it.

TACMOD make me a BETTER PLAYER.

See you on the Battlefield,

That's my dilemma tonight . . . 2142 or tacmod? Jeez, a hard choice.

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

TACMOD usually dies down after a couple hours (although I wish it didn't) so you could use TM to increase your skills and then use your new found prowess and power on 2142.

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

Good point Axis. This is THE mod for BF2 created by TG for TG.
I do find it hard to believe that interest has died down so quickly in favor of more "arcadey" mods and games.

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

Can't wait to try it out, I'm just seeding the POE server, and as soon as the map-packs are downloaded I'll see if I can get on the Tac Mod server.

It's a bit early in the US, but if any of you are up for it, or there are other Euro's out there, come get some.

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

I know this may sound counter productive but Tacmod has been more fun as of late because of the smaller population on these nights. Two squads on each side seem almost perfect. I don't feel as overwhelmed as I would on a full 64 man server. But hey, the more the merrier.

I'd suggest neither. I think you would find your evening much more enjoyable if you decided to weave a basket, or counted to a really high number.

There are actually more custom maps that we haven't played in a while. Hopefully I can get the bugs (from bf 1.4 patch) worked out soon so we can play them.

I usually leave it running all day. I think most people look for the server at a certain time though.

BTW... server is up now!

Re: Don't forget tacmod!

Was pretty enjoyable..I was truly suprised when someone on the MEC side layed down right next to me. While trying to provide cover fire to take a flag. Unfortunately or fortunately I was on teh US side and blasted that person with my SAW. Tac Mod is fun and I actually enjoy it a bit more than PoE2 but just barely.
