    water texture

    ok so Ive got water in my map fine but its ugly as hell
    Ive heard about copying textures from actual bf2 maps, but were do I copy them to in the actual editer

    i haven't tried the water yet but have you turned on the enviroment map option in the TWEAKBAR for the water. I haven't delved into the water options so I may be wrong to its location. However I know to make that reflective look you need to activated an enviroment map (you may also need to assign a bitmap picture for it to relfect.

    I was out at sea on the Clean sweep map looking at the water, and I was a tree reflecting on the water. I though, wheres that reflecting from?

    Users with high settings may have a realtime enviromap effect, so it reflects exactly what is around rather than the illusion that static pictures may create.

    I dont remember seeing the envirinment map option

    You need to change the animation speed (The higher the slower it animates), the animation speeds of the X and Y, and the specular. Also you need to select the colours... just fool around with it... you'll figure it out.
