We don't have to concentrate on one map here. We all have ideas about maps and I see no reason we cannot create several. Once we have them up, we can test them out and gain the opinion of other TGers out there.

As for ATC, we can take screenshots of the map and load them into ATC. Just let me know what you want and I can take care of that.

    Re: Looking for map makers

Great thread asch.. I've actually been spurning my gametime this week in favor of learning the map editor. I used to make scripted maps for OFP back in the day, but my focus is on the layout side (less of the artistic implementation) for bf2.

The maps= I've been working on so far I've not been worrying about texturing but rather traying to create terrain and testing how I think gameplay is affected by CP locations, roads, vehicles, cover etc. This particular map I call "Bridges1" and features some strategic bridges without the land crossings to provide a nice element for the SF and engineers to play with.

I'm 100% focused on developing a map that promotes the TG style of play and will definately be involved if needed in any of these wiki's.

EDIT: Asch any problems with me editing a few things on the wiki? I already have added my map and a link resource to the tips section, but wanted to be sure I'm not oversteping my bounds

Not so good on the map making but I am eager to be a tester. I'm sure you wont have any shortage of testers though.

good to hear that. i'm the opposite, i'd rather leave the placement of CP's and UCB's and such to everyone else. i'm just striving to create a realistic map from my memories. hopefully when it's done we can playtest it and you guys can decide where to put all the assets
