MTS Update
Hey guys!
This is an update from the Mech Tactical Simulation [MTS] team, letting you know that we’re still hard at work trying to bring 31st Century Combat to Battlefield 2.
For those of you who are aware of the mod and been wondering when our shiny web page would be resurrected, I’m glad to be the bearer of good news!
We’ve recently moved to an entirely new location:
www.mts-mod.net
We’re working on a non-flash page [apologies to those of you without flash!] and also in the process of updating our media sections to show you guys a little bit more of what we’ve been working on!
For those of you without flash, feel free to register and check out our forums to take a good look at some of our newer ‘unreleased’ models and keep yourselves fully abreast of development!
Also, if anyone has any queries about the mod, feel free to reply here or email me with your concerns at: providence@battletechmodproductions.com.
Regards,

Re: MTS Update
Very cool! I think this will be something for us to certainly try out once it's been released.

Diplomacy is the art of saying "good doggie" while looking for a bigger stick.

Bad link mate, you have extra [ ] brackets which adds the ] onto the web address.

Re: MTS Update
Thanks, updated.
Yeah the media sections still link back to our old host unfortunately. We're in the process of switching content over now, hopefully it'll be done [fingers crossed] in the next 48-72 hours.
Anyway here's a picture of one of the mechs we're currently skinning:

Re: MTS Update
No problem, looking nice, but I am just wondering what is going to make this different and better than Mech Warrior series? (come on sell it to everyone! heres your chance lol)
I played Mech Warrior a long time ago, was a fun game but doesn't interest me too much so wondering what the difference will be.

Re: MTS Update
The thing that sets MTS apart from the Mechwarrior series is the fact that it embraces so much more of the Battletech universe. All of the things that would have been 'cool to try' in Mechwarrior, we're aiming to make playable.
MTS is attempting to impliment everything from 10,000 ton dropships to power armored super soldiers.
Hover bikes, tanks, apc's, tracked units, aerofighters/bombers and heli's are a small example of what is currently under development [at least one unit from each of the above catagories has already been modeled/skinned]. Or if the big 'hyperdeath' units don't appeal to you, play as a "Blakes Wraith Operative" and strike from the shadows with a not-so-subtle vibrosword, or a kamikazi inferno [think napalm] wielding infantryman, nothing says 'respect me' like setting fire to some poor sod on a bike.
Oh, we've obviously got mechs too.
