new buildings

hey is anyone making any new buildings for the editor, if you are could you post them up for us to see, if your generous could you post a link for us to download

Im tired of seeing the same old buildings in the editor, would appreciate some skyscrapers or something

I would do it, but I have no idea how, heh

Not planning on any new buildings until my next map... but will let you hunt my hints to what style of map that will be....

You can't create new buildings in the editor, only tweak properties about them. You still need a 3rd party editor (i.e 3dmax) to create objects.

Quite true, should of said that. I think the editor keeps mentioning Maya so I guess that what was used to create the official map's objects.

Thank god for university... the choice of programs and the super computers available are great :-D

You can use 3dsmax as well as Maya for bf2.

Maya, IMHO, is your best bet if you have no idea what you're doing. I think it's a bit easier to learn that 3dsmax. Either way you're in for a big learning curve, since modelling and texturing isn't a real quick thing.
