    It looks like it is missing the HUD for the vheicle. Or mabey it just needs a minimap to be made for the map. I bet thats it, its looking for a minimap file.

    Ive looked all over the stock maps and cant find anything close to what your talking about

    also I dont have photoshop, so making a minimap is out of the question

    You don't need Photoshop or anything. The Gimp is just as powerful, plus it's free.

    Update

    Ok so I was able to open my map up in SF but my spawn points are all screwed up so I wasnt able to spawn, but was able to float freely around the map, so Im putting up a few screens around the map, mind you its not finished and the water looks like crap

    Nice start, I think it would be cool with a dense fog like Karkand.

    havnt the slightest

    the only thing I did different then the other times was load the map with 64 player size instead of 16

    also with this breakthrough comes new problems, these spawnpoints are confusing me, can someone walk me through it

    also not really a problem but an annoyance, when first built the carrier I couldnt find the mess hall so I just left it out, but know Ive found it, and I cant get the damn thing to fit right, Ill work on it tommorrow some more

    Sure. I think I can guess the problem but I will start from begining.

    Right click where you want the flag and select Create Control Point

    You can rename the flag to whatever you like (I notace you've already done this on your map)

    Team -1, 0 or 1 to select neutral or a team to start with the flag.

    You can leave the rest of the details as default until you want to get advanced.

    Next you need to make sure you have the Control Point (flag) selected then right click and Create Spawnpoint [Base Name ]

    Name this whatever you like but should be related to the flag ie. Base1_SP1. The spawn point can only hold 1 person at a time, this is why sometimes at the start of games you can't spawn as all the spawnpoints are occupied (any object).

    ok kewl I will get started

    also, I can get all the stock buildings and stuff from SF, but whenever I try and make an object spawner, the list is empty, any suggestions, unless the MEC side is ok with swimming over to the carrier from the subs


    CHECKLIST

    -complete carrier
    -objects
    -Control points
    -water
    -vehicles
    -lighting

    sould be checking some of those of very soon

    Looks nice Wushuhero. I haven't worked on my map for ages now. Maybe I will have to go back and finish it with some new SF objects.

    thanks everyone for all the input, I hope to get this map finished soon

    and when I do I would like release it to the public(or just TG) of course im doinf what probable thousands of people are doing, and there probably more skilled at the editor then me, Im sure there are some better versions out there

    also when the time comes I will probably need some help on how to release map to the public, but not yet, later

    First Play Test

    thankyou thankyou thankyou preston, I now I have 4 spawn points, It works, (but only with 64 players)

    Once I add a few spawn points I can cross it off my list
    also new to the list-

    -sound effects

    as in, I have found some carrier alarms that I would like to put on the ship, BUT HOW

    I know it has something to do with ambient sounds

    I admire your resolve; learning an editor from the ground up takes some doing. That said, I have no idea at all how to add sound. Good luck though.

    I getting a bit annoyed with this water leval though, Im trying to drop it a mter so I can fit through a doorway but whenever I save and package it and go to play it, its still the same hight as before, nothing to urgent, but still annoying nontheless

    going to do a bit of research over the internet, but I now it would be cool fighting through the halfsunken halways with the ships alarm echoing in the backround
